So it is all of 2PM here, and I am ready to go to bed today. This has been a very long day. For the laughs let us just recap todays adventures.

Last night before bed, I actually turned off my computer so with that. I awoke this morning about 7:30AM started my pot of coffee and fired up my pc. When my computer starts it is set for MSN to auto login; this is sometimes a big mistake. With this all of my dedicated server clients have my personal MSN account info so they can get a hold of me is need be. Well my computer starts and bam 9 million MSN windows open up. Sigh…… Server Down, Server Down, Server Down… You get where this is going. My email opens up and 280 emails of outage and servers up/down. Sigh…

Our upstream provider BurstNET in there genius thinking failed to notify anybody of there “small network update.” Yeah….. 4 hours of downtime later things come back up. Notice I said things, not everything. Half of the servers are back online, the other half nope because “the router lost the ip tables” Um what? How the heck does a $50,000 router lose tables. So what jackhat screwed this up?

So we are now all back up and running at 100% now.

So it is lunch time here, and as some of you know because we are small enough I work from the house. Well my girlfriends son is two and still in diapers. Now backing up you know I have 3 sons and I am a dad that has changed many many diapers, odds are more diapers the my ex wife did. So as I am talking to Bekki, I start changing him and look at her and go “well at least he won’t pee on me.” What a dumbass I am, about 1 second after that, the spray happens. Now please note again I have 3 kids, and I have changed thousands of diapers and not once was I ever pee’d on.

So I get up, clean up and am now back in sweats ready for bed.

Is 2PM to early to go back to bed?
