Having arrived at the Gates of Heaven, Barack Obama meets a man with a beard.
‘Are you Mohammed?’ he asks.

‘No my son, I am St. Peter; Mohammed is higher up.’ Peter then points to
A ladder that rises into the clouds.

Delighted that Mohammed should be higher than St. Peter, Obama climbs the
Ladder in great strides, climbs up through the clouds and comes into a room where
He meets another bearded man. He asks again, ‘Are you Mohammed?
‘Why no he answers, I am Moses;
Mohammed is higher still.’

Exhausted, but with a heart full of joy he climbs the ladder yet again, he discovers
A larger room where he meets an angelic looking man with a beard.
Full of hope, he asks again, ‘Are you Mohammed?
‘No, I am Jesus…You will find Mohammed higher up.’

Mohammed higher than Jesus!
Man, oh man! Obama can hardly contain his delight and climbs and climbs
Ever higher. Once again, he reaches an even larger room where he meets this truly
Magnificent looking man with a silver white beard and once again repeats his question: ‘Are you Mohammed?’ he gasps as he is, by now, totally out of breath from all his climbing.

‘No, my son…. I am Almighty God, the Alpha and the Omega, but, you look
Exhausted . Would you like a cup of coffee..?’

‘Yes! Please!’ as God looks behind him, he claps his hands and yells out:
‘Hey Mohammed–two coffees!”’

Keep your trust in God ……your government has let you down ………….

The son of an Iranian woman who had faced death by stoning for adultery says authorities have imposed a new sentence of 99 lashes after a British newspaper ran a picture of an unveiled woman and mistakenly identified it as his mother.

Sajjad Qaderzadeh, 22, said Monday he did not know whether the sentence had been carried out.

The Times of London corrected the erroneous photo caption that identified the unveiled woman in the picture as 43-year-old Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani.

“Publishing the photo provided a judge an excuse to sentence my poor mother to 99 lashes on the charge of taking a picture unveiled,” Qaderzadeh told The Associated Press.

After watching the video I was wondering if Obama?s NYC
mosque will have a “Stoning Grounds” near the front entry.
Liberals, be careful for what you wish for, and I would caution
anyone to think carefully before watching this video. The young
girl in this video was sentenced to death by an ISLAMIC Court
because she did not want to marry an old man the family arranged
for her!

This was NOT Al Qaeda or the Taliban, but MUSLIMS
following SHARIAH LAW! These are the same people who want to
build a mosque across from Ground Zero, where they killed 3,000
on 9/11. And Obama is agreeing to this? Does he have any comment
regarding the strong suggestion that the $110 Million for such a
project is coming from Saudi Arabia? Do we want this type of
barbaric religion in OUR country?! Tell me again why we can’t
call them MUSLIM or ISLAMIC Terrorists…….How about MUSLIM
animals? I can’t imagine any crime for which this punishment
would be acceptable under any circumstances any where in
America!!! Where’s all the Left Wing Liberal Women’s Groups
now…..God Help Us (The Real God, that is). Track forward in
time to when they will be asking to utilize Shariah Law here as
they are doing in several European countries, or whether it was
appropriate for a recent newly elected congressman from the upper
midwest of the US to be sworn in utilizing a Quaran vs a Bible!

I have a real problem with the naysayers who express their view
that our country, and its constitution, provides for freedom of
religion, and therefore such activity as the use of Shariah Law
and building mosques wherever, is protected. Any form of
governance that utilizes Shariah Law to govern can not, by any
stretch of the imagination, be accepted in our country as a
religion. Politicians who support such a position are, at best,
demagogues and, at worst, simply damn liars and fools. Anyone who
can watch this video and support the proposition that this is
their Muslim religion at work is too sick to be considered
rational.

When are the Democrats and Liberals who struggle so mightily to
be “PC” going to get it???? The first lesson in war is to
identify the enemy!!!

I have an idea, let us let one airline company radically and racially profile, and lets see how many customers are ok with this. Lets also see how much there sales would increase. I know that I would fly with them. Most people in the world do not care what it takes to be safe, and the ones that complain; they need to be looked at a little closer. I agree so much to what she said, “it’s suspect, not a racial profile.” Ann you are an amazing woman, God love you.

Everyone seems to be wondering why Muslim terrorists are so quick to commit suicide … Let’s see now…

No Jesus
No Christmas
No television
No cheerleaders
No car races
No football
No soccer
No golf
No tailgate parties
No pork BBQ
No hot dogs
No burgers
No lobster
No shellfish, or even frozen fish sticks
No nachos
No Beer nuts
No Beer !!!!!!!!
Rags for clothes and towels for hats.
Constant wailing from the guy next-door because he’s sick and there are no doctors.
Constant wailing from the guy in the tower.
More than one wife.
You can’t shave.
Your wives can’t shave.
You can’t shower to wash off the smell of donkey cooked over burning camel dung.
The women have to wear baggy dresses and veils at all times.
Your bride is picked by someone else.
She smells just like your donkey.
But your donkey has a better disposition.
Then they tell you that when you die it all gets better!

I mean, really, is there a mystery here?

In September 1960, I woke up one morning with six hungry babies and just 75 cents in my pocket .

Their father was gone .

The boys ranged from three months to seven years; their sister was two .

Their Dad had never been much more than a presence they feared .

Whenever they heard his tires crunch on the gravel driveway they would scramble to hide under their beds .

He did manage to leave $15 a week to buy groceries .

Now that he decided to leave, there would be no more beatings, but no food either .

If there was a welfare system in effect in southern Indiana at that time, I certainly knew nothing about it .

I scrubbed the kids until they looked brand new and then put on my best homemade dress, loaded them into the rusty old 51 Chevy and drove off to find a job .

The seven of us went to every factory, store and restaurant in our small town .

No luck .

The kids stayed crammed into the car and tried to be quiet while I tried to convince who ever would listen that I was willing to learn or do anything . I had to have a job .

Still no luck . The last place we went to, just a few miles out of town, was an old Root Beer Barrel drive-in that had been converted to a truck stop .

It was called the Big Wheel .

An old lady named Granny owned the place and she peeked out of the window from time to time at all those kids .

She needed someone on the graveyard shift, 11 at night until seven in the morning .

She paid 65 cents an hour, and I could start that night .

I raced home and called the teenager down the street that baby-sat for people.

I bargained with her to come and sleep on my sofa for a dollar a night .

She could arrive with her pajamas on and the kids would already be asleep

This seemed like a good arrangement to her, so we made a deal .

That night when the little ones and I knelt to say our prayers, we all thanked God for finding Mom my a job . And so I started at the Big Wheel .

When I got home in the mornings I woke the baby-sitter up and sent her home with one dollar of my tip money– fully half of what I averaged every night .

As the weeks went by, heating bills added a strain to my meager wage .

The tires on the old Chevy had the consistency of penny balloons and began to leak . I had to fill them with air on the way to work and again every morning before I could go home .

One bleak fall morning, I dragged myself to the car to go home and found four tires in the back seat . New tires!

There was no note, no nothing, just those beautiful brand new tires .

Had angels taken up residence in Indiana ? I wondered .

I made a deal with the loca l service station .

In exchange f or his mounting the new tires, I would clean up his office .

I remember it took me a lot longer to scrub his floor than it did for him to do the tires .

I was now working six nights instead of five and it still wasn’t enough .

Christmas was coming and I knew there would be no money for toys for the kids .

I found a can of red paint and started repairing and painting some old toys . Then I hid them in the basement so there would be something for Santa to deliver on Christmas morning .

Clothes were a worry too . I was sewing patches on top of patches on the boys pants and soon they would be too far gone to repair .

On Christmas Eve the usual customers were drinking coffee in the Big Wheel . There were the truckers, Les, Frank, and Jim, and a state trooper named Joe .

A few musicians were hanging around after a gig at the Legion and were dropping nickels in the pinball machine .

The regulars all just sat around and talked through the wee hours of the morning and then left to get home before the sun came up .

When it was time for me to go home at seven o’clock on Christmas morning, to my amazement, my old battered Chevy was filled full to the top with boxes of all shapes and sizes .

I quickly opened the driver’s side door, crawled inside and kneeled in the front facing the back seat .

Reaching back, I pulled off the lid of the top box .

Inside was whole case of little blue jeans, sizes 2-10!

I looked inside another box: It was full of shirts to go with the jeans .

Then I peeked inside some of the other boxes . There was candy and nuts and bananas and bags of groceries . There was an enormous ham for baking, and canned vegetables and potatoes .
There was pudding and Jell-O an d cookies, pie filling and flour . There was a whole bag of laundry supplies and cleaning items .

And there were five toy trucks and one beautiful little doll .

As I drove back through empty streets as the sun slowly rose on the most amazing Christmas Day of my life, I was sobbing with gratitude .

And I will never forget the joy on the faces of my little ones that precious morning .

Yes, there were angels in Indiana that long-ago December . And they all hung out at the Big Wheeltruck stop .

THE POWER OF PRAYER . I believe that God only gives three answers to prayer:

1 . ‘Yes!’
2 . ‘Not yet . ‘
3 . ‘I have something better in mind . ‘

God still sits on the throne, the devil is a liar .

You maybe going through a tough time right now but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that you cannot imagine .

My instructions were to pick four people that I wanted God to bless, and I picked you .

Please pass this to at least four people you want to be blessed and a copy back to me .

This prayer is powerful, and prayer is one of the best gifts we receive . There is no cost but a lot of rewards

Let’s continue to pray for one another . Here is the prayer: .

Father, I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and email buddies reading this right now . Show them a new revelation of Your love and power .
Amen .

BIG IDEA – You Are Worth It.

Pierre Omidyar opened his doors for business on September 3, 1995. He had the idea to hold a world-wide garage sale – from his home! Everyone in the world could buy or sell their most prized possessions without ever leaving the comfort of their own home.

The Concept: An Online Garage Sale
The Company: eBay

The geniusness (is that a word?) of the idea is in the meeting of simplicity and need. Everyone has a prized possessions (junk, useless or outdated items, gifts that will never be used, etc) that they want to get rid of. So Pierre created a place where you could put your stuff up for auction and wait to see what people would pay for your prized (or not so prized) possessions.

Over the years there have been some interesting items that have been auctioned or at least attempted to be auctioned off on eBay. Take a look…
UFO Detector: $135.03
Meaning of Life: $3.26
Vampire Killing Kit: $4,550.00
Serial Killer’s Finger Nails: $9.99
Jay Leno Unofficial Sock Puppet: $0.01
Jesus Christ Rookie Card: $71.04
Cathedral Pickle Jar $44,100.00
“Air” Guitar: $5.50
Ghost in a Jar: Never Sold

So let me ask you two questions. These are not the type of questions that you can quickly think about and pass on by (Like.. Why does Jud like the Dallas Cowboys? Or why is the sky blue?). Spend a few minutes – think about it. Then write your answers down.

If you were to be sold on eBay:

1. What would you put as your starting bid?
2. What do you think someone would pay for you?

Let me get straight to the point: What do you think you are “worth”? Interesting question isn’t it? Personally, I don’t think what I had ever thought about that question before. So I did what any normal person would do — I found a website that actually calculates your “worth”. Yeah I was kind of shocked to find a website that was dedicated to this life-changing venture. It only takes you ten to fifteen minutes to fill out a series of questions about yourself, and then you get a dollar amount. The entire thing intrigued me, so I did it. Ten minutes later, I found out that I was worth approximately 2.5 million dollars.

DIG In

Read: Luke 12:6-7.
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies[a]? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. 7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Did you catch it? Within two simple verses, Jesus paints an amazing picture of what you are “WORTH” to Him. Let me quickly explain.

Back in biblical times you would actually go to the temple and present an animal sacrifice to God (there is a lot more to this, but I am trying to keep Day One to ten minutes). If you didn’t have an animal to sacrifice, you could go to the temple and buy an animal (I think the called it “fast food sacrifice”… or maybe not). Your wealth would determine what type of animal you could buy. If you had enough money, you would purchase a lamb. If you were poor, you would buy a sparrow. The merchants would sell you two sparrows for one copper coin. That would be worth approximately $1.00 today. Not that much. If I were to give you a brand new, crisp $1.00 bill, how quickly would you spend it? Fast! It would be gone before you knew it and you probably wouldn’t really remember where it went. Back to the sparrows; Jesus does something interesting, and if you dig a little deeper you will catch it. Here’s a hint: Jesus said, five sparrows for two copper coins.

If you were good at elementary school math, you will excel at this quiz.

If 2 sparrows = 1 copper coin
Then 1 sparrow = X copper coin
So, 5 sparrow = X copper coins.

Is there a type? Did Jesus mess up on the math? If two sparrows equal one copper coin, then four sparrows would equal two copper coins. That means five sparrows would equal two and a half copper coins. It’s simple math. I don’t think Jesus messed up on His math; I think Jesus was trying to get His point across. He was so desperately trying to make it clear.

The Point: The value of a sparrow is so little that a merchant would just throw an extra sparrow in for free.

MY Life:

So, if God values every sparrow.. if God has numbered every hair on your head… if God finds you more valuable then an entire flock of sparrows… then how much do you think you are worth?

STOP.

Don’t write a dollar amount. Just write this word: PRICELESS.

Stop for a moment and let this truth soak in. Let this truth sink down to the deepest part of your soul. God sees you as priceless. You are His creation. He has made you. You are perfect. You are HIS. The world that you live in — the culture that surrounds you — is constantly trying to say you don’t “look” like you should, you aren’t smart enough, and you will never accomplish anything great. Everyday you wake up to the though, “I am not good enough.”

IT’S A LIE!
YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW!
YOU ARE PRICELESS!!
EBAY BIDDERS CAN’T AFFORD YOU!!

THE Warp

Starting today: _______ (Write out the date).
You are going to choose to go through life saying to yourself: I am priceless.

When you feel all alone in this world.

When you feel like you are not respected or valued at work.

Whenever you look in the mirror and dislike what you see.

When you start comparing yourself to someone else.

Whenever someone looks down on you for the clothes your wearing.

To wrap this up, over the next twenty-eight days when you get up or when you go to bed, consider what God will do or what He has done to show you are PRICELESS.

CONVERSATION STARTER:
What is it about you that God truly values.
